  1. Why choose us?
    Price: Simply, we try to be as affordable as possible by returning publisher savings and discounts to YOU the customer while maintaining high levels of customer service.

    Other seemingly cheaper methods of subscribing involve annual fees, shipping costs and delays in sorting mail. We charge one low price and act on your behalf in getting refunds for missing issues, renewals, address changes etc.

    Selection: We also have the widest selection of magazines through several partnerships in the US.

    Service: Magazine Imports is a trading name of NewspaperDirect Trinidad & Tobago Ltd, the sole distributor of same-day international newspapers in Trinidad. For the past 5 years we've built a reputation of excellent customer service in all aspects of subscription delivery.

    We know business service! We understand the needs of libraries and businesses to have a customer oriented account representative attending to your information sourcing needs. We offer prompt quotes, VAT invoices, we accept purchase orders and other flexible payment methods from companies.

  2. Are there any other charges like delivery?
    There are NO extra or hidden charges. All prices include handling & delivery to your door.

  3. Why can't I find the magazine I'm looking for?
    We have assembled an extensive list of titles by partnering with many different clearing houses. If you've tried our Keyword Search and still can't find a title, it could simply mean we may have missed it, it does not mean we can't supply it. So please enquire anyway through our Customer Service form by clicking here

  4. We're a company with specific requirements for ordering, how do we order?
    We at Magazine Imports value your business and make it easy for companies to order. Through our website you can request a quotation faxed, e-mailed(pdf) or mailed for the items you've added to your shopping cart by using our Request a Quote/Proforma Invoice link on the shopping cart page.
    You also can place an order using a PO# by clicking the Checkout (PO) link on the shopping cart page. If you have any other requirements, feel free to call us at 675-3885 or contact customer service, we'll be happy to meet any requirements you have.

  5. What methods of payment are there for home subscribers?
    We accept bank deposits, cash, cheques, LINX, VISA & MASTERCARD credit cards. If you're paying by cheque, bank deposit or credit card you can order online or over the phone. For all other methods you need to visit our office at the Food Court, Ground Floor, Maritime Centre, Barataria.

  6. Why does it take so long for me to get my first issue?
    This wait period is a publisher standard worldwide for magazine subscriptions. We do everything in our power to expedite your order. However, once you've placed an order, it takes 1 to 2 weeks for your subscription to be received and scheduled by the publisher. Your subscription is then added to the publisher's next production cycle and shipped. For example, if your monthly subscription was ordered and received by the publisher in November, and the December issue has already shipped, your order may be added to the January mailing.

    How often the magazine is published each year will determine when your first issue arrives. For example, the first issue of a weekly magazine should arrive within 4 to 6 weeks of your order. The first issue of a monthly magazine should arrive within 6 to 10 weeks. If you have not received your subscription within the expected time frame, please contact customer service. Rest assured, your subscription starts when you receive your first unit--not when you place your order. If you subscribed for 12 issues, you will receive all 12.

  7. Can I Cancel?
    It's very important to us that you're happy with your magazine subscription purchase. If you're not satisfied for any reason, contact customer service, and we'll work to get you a refund on your unserved issues from the publisher.

    Some publishers of professional or trade magazine subscriptions cannot afford the added cost of cancellations. Consequently, these subscriptions are non-refundable.

  8. What if I miss an issue?
    If you miss an issue please contact customer service and we'll work on getting you a replacement or refund.

  9. Can I change my address?
    Yes, its easy to contact customer service with any changes in your delivery.

  10. You're cheaper than my current subscription. Can I switch or renew with you?
    Yes! All you have to do is to order a subscription from us at least 8-10 weeks before your other subscription is due or cancelled. There should be no interruption of your delivery this way.

  11. Do you automatically renew?
    No, but we do remind you to renew in advance to ensure there is no interruption.

  12. Do I get all the free stuff that comes with my subscription?
    For the most part yes. We'll import free CD's, inserts e.g. pullouts & posters. However sometimes publishers send junk mail such as catalogues, sweepstakes forms etc. We do not ship these, it would increase our shipping costs.
